Terms of Service - Rules & Regulations

Spamming is forbidden. You may not use your membership to spam others. Spamming will get you banned. So will harassment of other members. From a legal standpoint: only upload images for which you have permission, hold the copyright, or which you have taken yourself.

IGOTASLINGSHOT.COM is not responsible for your legal troubles. This is an open forum. We rely on the reporting by our members to make us aware of violations of policy or forbidden behavior on this site. Please do let us know.

Most violations will be accompanied by a warning. Continuous violations or egregious violations will incur the wrath of the administrators and get you banned. Remember, posts which come to the attention of moderators will be subject to change, and moderator decisions are final.

These are some guidelines to follow when using our forums.

General Forum Rules:
a. No trolls or trolling allowed
b. No vending unless authorized to do so. Commercial posts are not allowed nor are posts which can be deemed as advertising – for that you should contact us to arrange for advertising
c. Cursing is allowed but cursing at other members is NOT. No BASHING! If you are caught bashing you'll get points and a warning. No one is allowed to bash anyone! (To Bash: To engage in harsh, accusatory, threatening criticism. )
d. One account per member
e. Post whoring is discouraged except for in your own journal and in the PWT
f. Create new threads in the correct area
g. Keep all NWS content in the "NWS" area
h. No cross-posting (duplicate posting)
i. ALWAYS search before creating a thread
j. No political discussions
k. No racial slurs or racist comments
l. No pornography
m. No posting of copyrighted material without permission
n. Be courteous of each other
o. No links to auctions are allowed
p. Posts linking to commercial sites without merit (i.e. a full review or unrelated to the forum) will be removed
q. Unlock codes should not be posted;
r. Do not SHOUT. Do not post subject in ALL CAPITALS;
s. Be considerate and use standard English, do not use SMS abbreviations, this will help everyone understand your message.
t. Do not post ad blocks for any network. These will be removed and the poster banned immediately
u. If you don't agree with someone's post, attack the idea, not the poster. Posts will be removed and the user may be banned if:
v. the post promotes illicit material;
w. the post contains copyrighted material not the property of the author;
x. the post is simply for URL dropping;
y. the post is one of the multiple copies in different forums;
z. the post contains pornography;
aa. the post links to pornography;
bb. the post promotes pyramid schemes or affiliate programs;
cc. the post contains abuse of other users;
dd. the post contains confidential information or information subject to NDA or other agreements;
Godwin's Law is invoked.
ee. the post can be considered libel.
ff. Violation of these rules will be subject to disciplinary action including infraction points and bans. All IP addresses are recorded (not shown) and will allow us to track fake posts if necessary.

Administrators and Moderators can and will delete or edit posts if these fall out of these guidelines. In some situations, the poster may be contacted in private via PM. If the behavior persists the poster can be locked out of the forums. This ban is for an unlimited time.

Users posting in our forums agree to these terms.

By displaying or posting content on the Forum, you hereby grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, global license to publish the content submitted by you to the Forum. You also grant us global nonexclusive adaptation and resale rights over any content and material submitted to IGOTASLINGSHOT.COM. These non-exclusive publishing licenses and resale/adaptation rights extend to any materials submitted "for publication" within IGOTASLINGSHOT.COM, including both message board postings and content submitted for uploading and subsequent publishing within non-message board portions of IGOTASLINGSHOT.COM. Neither we nor our staff or agents will be responsible for any misleading, false or otherwise injurious information and advice communicated on IGOTASLINGSHOT.COM or for any results obtained from the use of such information or advice. We will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by a user through the user’s reliance on information and advice gained through user-generated content posted on IGOTASLINGSHOT.COM.
